Belo Corp. has agreed to broadcast LBI Media's Hispanic network, Estrella TV. The programming will air on digital subchannels of KGW Portland, Ore (DMA 22); KENS San Antonio, Texas (DMA 37); KVUE
Austin, Texas (DMA 49); and KTTU Tucson, Ariz. (DMA 68). Estrella TV's distribution covers almost 60% of Hispanic television households when combining all of LBI Media's stations. Estrella TV will now
be in the Hispanic Texas markets of Austin, McAllen-Brownsville, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, San Antonio, Tyler-Longview and Waco, as well as Phoenix and Tuscon, the largest Hispanic markets in Arizona.
Estrella is scheduled for a third-quarter launch.
