Asked by Break Media and OMMA Publish moderator Andrew Budkofsky how he goes after his client’s big Kahuna â€" their heavily funded TV advertising budgets â€" Havas Digital’s Ed Montes said that’s not the right question.
“I don’ think it’s a question of one saying, ‘I want your TV dollars.’ I think it’s a question of whether online is adequately represented in the media mix,†Montes said, adding, “I think that’s the conversation.â€
“I would never say I want your TV dollars,†he continued. “In my portfolio, digital is outweighing print significantly, and there are some cases where it is outweighing TV.â€
