I’m not sure, but MRM’s Vipin Mayar flashed a cross-armed image of her during his
presentation this morning to illustrate a point about the declining trust consumers seem to have about advertising.
According to some Gallup data,
only 17% of consumers said they trusted advertisers in 2007. By 2008, that percentage had slipped to 10%.
Ah, now I get it. Mayar is saying that
consumers think advertisers are “creepy and they’re kooky.â€
