E.W. Scripps Shuffles Brass To Boost Sales

E.W. Scripps Co. has revamped management at its 13 newspapers to beef up ad sales, reports AP. Scripps said Tuesday that it has created two national posts to steer sales and content. Bruce Hartmann, the vice president and publisher of the News Sentinel, is now vice president of Scripps' print and interactive sales. Rusty Coats, now the vice president of interactive operations for the newspaper unit, becomes vice president of content and marketing. Frank Wolfe was upped to vice president of operations for the newspaper unit, responsible for production and circulation operations.
