The special shake flavor will be available through Oct. 19 at all of the chain's U.S. locations, and supported by in-store displays.
"Finding a new way to package and present our fans' preferred flavor is something we're really excited about, and we think Johnny Rockets is just the outlet for putting a new twist on this timeless favorite," said Kool-Aid senior brand manager Gregory Nesmith, in announcing the promotion.
Following this shake promotion, Johnny Rockets plans to launch a year-round Web page dedicated to shake trivia, history and online specials. A "Show Us Your Shake" promotion in which guests demonstrate a favorite dance move in exchange for a half-price shake or malt is also planned.
Johnny Rockets has about 280 corporate and franchise-owned restaurants in
