In addition to using AdMob to run display ads in the game, Tapulous also plans to use the ad network to help promote the launch of its upcoming titles and eventually utilize AdMob's house ads program to cross promote apps in the network.
"Tap Tap Revenge 3" is expected to launch some time next month, according to Business Insider. It also reported that Tapulous will continue to sell its own interactive campaigns in which ad messages are embedded into the game itself.
"From what I've seen, Tapulous has a great opportunity to monetize in-app purchases, giving users the ability to purchase additional songs and avatars inside the app," wrote Aunkur Arya, AdMob's director of business development, in a blog post Monday. --Mark Walsh
