Canada's
Financial Post reports that Mark's Work Wearhouse has installed a walk-in freezer in its Edmonton, Alberta store, which allows shoppers to test out just how well its cold-weather gear
performs.
The freezer, which reportedly costs $35,000, simulates wind chill and sinks to temperatures of -40 degrees Fahrenheit. It also includes a grip bar that allows shoppers to experiment
with gloves, and the chain is said to be considering a wet component that would generate icy conditions.
The Calgary-based clothing chain, with 385 stores, is owned by Canadian Tire Corp.
