Mobile ad-serving company Ringleader Digital is partnering with mobile ad technology and analytics provider Medialets to offer combined services for running rich media campaigns in mobile
applications. Under the agreement, Ringleader will make Medialets' rich media ad units and analytics the default service for mobile apps.
Medialets, in return, will integrate Ringleader's
ad-serving platform for mobile Web ad formats. Ringleader's most prominent technology is its Media Stamp --a cookie-like tag that collects information on cell users' browsing habits and more than 90
device characteristics.
In April, the company said it had sold off
its mobile ad network business to focus exclusively on licensing its mobile ad technologies to publishers, ad networks, agencies and brands. --Mark Walsh
