Family Research Council Breaks Health Care Spot

  • October 23, 2009
The conservative Family Research Council said it has released a new ad seeking to influence the health care debate in Washington. The spot argues against "government-run health care (that) will leave our children to pay over $1 trillion of additional debt." The ad is airing locally in Washington on cable networks, and scheduled to take flight in coming weeks in five other states: Nebraska, Arkansas, Louisiana, Pennsylvania and Maine. Local station groups have been benefiting from some unexpected revenues as interest groups air ads promoting their positions on health care reform. --David Goetzl
