Dawn Professional, Procter & Gamble's commercial line of dishwashing detergent, is launching "Make Your Restaurant Shine," a contest awarding one U.S. restaurant $20,000 toward business improvements
and a one-on-one expert consultation with restaurateur and "Top Chef" star Chef Spike Mendelsohn.
The company says the award can be used to update kitchen equipment, make cosmetic
improvements or implement other business-driving investments. Restaurateurs can apply through April 12 at www.DawnCelebrations.com.
The winner also gets a paid trip for four to the 2010 National
Restaurant Association show in Chicago. The program is part of Dawn Professional's "Twice the Power, Twice the Smarts" B-to-B campaign.--Karl Greenberg
