MLB Promotes Courtney To Head Of PR

Patrick Courtney has been promoted to SVP of PR at Major League Baseball. He will assume the leadership of the MLB Public Relations Department upon the retirement of Richard Levin at the end of the current year.

Courtney, who joined MLB in 1992 will serve as the principal spokesperson for Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the MLB PR Department.--Karl Greenberg
