Rupert Murdoch believes the Apple iPad may save the newspaper industry by making it less expensive to distribute original content to a broader audience, according to Judith Burns. During a Kalb Report
forum at the National Press Club, Murdoch told reporters "we're going to stop Google and others from taking our content." He added, "I think most newspapers in this country are going to be putting up
a pay wall."
