But What Does It Taste Like, Chicken?

Magazine World magazine just announced that it will feature a "Peel 'n Taste" strip in its next edition. The stunt is a collaboration between FIPP, the PrintCity Alliance, First Flavor and Sun Chemical. It features a delicious looking cake, but doesn't say what the strip actually tastes like. Consumers may want to beware.

What the author of this quick comment did not report nor research is that First Flavor's Peel 'n Taste flavor strips are not a 'stunt', but a ground breaking and cost effective means of sampling the flavor of almost any product on the pages on a magazine, with direct mail, point-of-sale or virtually anywhere print is used.

You would think that the author would know that a flavor strip with a picture of a birthday cake would taste like....yes, vanilla cake. Each flavor strip is packaged in a pharmaceutical foil pouch and is made from approved food ingredients.

When the Peel 'n Taste flavor strip dissolves on a reader's tongue, it gives a blast of the flavor of the promoted product. This will revolutionize the use of print media as a sampling vehicle for flavored products! www.FirstFlavor.com
