J. David (Dave) Davis, executive vice president, ABC News, has been named president and general manager of WABC-TV in New York, the ABC flagship station, which he managed from 2003-07. Davis has spent
his 30-year career in the station business. As head of WBC-TV, he manages both the TV and digital TV channels, the station's Web site and "Live! with Regis and Kelly." Most recently, he was
executive vice president at ABC News.
