aiMatch Names Global Sales VP

  • July 6, 2010

Ad-serving and monitoring platform aiMatch on Friday named Chris Hanburger as its new VP of global sales. In this role, Hanburger will be responsible for expanding the reach of aiMatch's advertising platform for publishers in the US and globally. He most recently provided strategic sales leadership for emerging technology companies including TrackSimple.com and BrashInsight.

Previously as regional director of Publisher Solutions, Hanburger led advertising sales efforts in the Northeast United States for Microsoft. He came to Microsoft during the acquisition of aQuantive where he was national strategic sales director for Publisher Solutions.

Prior to aQuantive, he served in a business development role at Accipiter Solutions. He has also held sales positions at Identify Software, Aerotek and others. aiMatch was launched earlier this year by three founders of ad-serving tech provider Accipiter. In late 2006, Accipiter was sold to aQuantive's technologies business unit, Atlas, for $30.3 million in cash. Less than six months later, Microsoft scooped up aQuantive for $6 billion. --Gavin O'Malley
