Wasserman Media Group will hire 15-year sports-marketing industry veteran John Brody as a principal and member of the executive management team. Brody, who has been at Major League Baseball for 11
years, the past six as MLB's SVP of corporate sales and marketing, will lead Wasserman's global sales division and develop new business ventures. He helped orchestrate MLB deals with brands like
MasterCard, Pepsi, Bank of America, Anheuser-Busch, and General Motors. Prior to his time at MLB and as CMO for the Boston Celtics, Brody worked as an advertising executive for Young & Rubicam New
York.
