AOL Advertising on Monday said its SVP Dirk Freytag has been promoted to an executive leadership role of the AOL Advertising Product Management division. The group's official mission is to streamline
the connections between AOL's Product and Technology divisions.
Freytag overseeing both divisions should help AOL prioritize and leverage resources more effectively. Freytag joined AOL
Advertising in 2007, when ADTECH was acquired by the company. He will continue to serve as president of ADTECH and head of AOL Technologies in addition to his new responsibilities. He will continue to
report directly to Jeff Levick, president, Global Advertising and Strategy. --
