Search marketing company WebVisible Monday will announce the departure of Kirsten Mangers, the company's co-founder and CEO, along with more than 50 employees, according to sources close to the
company. It's been less than nine months since the company reported raising $20 million in "Series C" venture capital funding.
Although unconfirmed, sources point to Ron Burr, Webvisible COO,
as the trigger man. The company will distribute a press release on Monday explaining the move.
Manger wouldn't comment or confirm the news on Saturday, but told MediaPost "I'm a happy girl."
No word as to the role Kristen will take next, but it could have something to do with raising public awareness for
Alzheimer's disease.
