Facebook marketing firm Buddy Media has landed a $5 million investment from WPP, which will integrate the company's platform into its own set of technology tools so brands can more easily tie
Facebook marketing into broader ad programs. The relationship will also include training for WPP agencies on the Buddy Media platform within the first year and co-development of new products and
social applications exclusively for WPP clients. The new investment increases the size of the
third-round
funding announced by Buddy Media earlier this month to $28 million.
