hired for culture. "if someone is bad for culture, we fire them. and peformance reviews are based on how they are living the culture."

immersion. And all employees do the call center and all employees hop on the phones during holidays. "At the end of the first week of training we tell the entering class that 'we will will pay you
for time you have spent training plus a bonus of $2k to leave the company now. W do that because we don't want employees there for just paycheck. we want people who believe in our long term vision."
"Over next few years, we will focus on clothing, customer service and culture," said Hsieh.
