Walgreens Pledges $100 Million In Health Testing

Walgreens says it is contributing $100 million to its new Walgreens Way to Well Commitment, beginning with free daily blood-pressure screenings at more than 7,600 Walgreens pharmacies and its Take Care Clinics.

The Deerfield, Ill.-based retailer made the announcement on "The Dr. Oz Show," and says its efforts will focus on heart disease, cancer and diabetes. Over the next four years, it will provide preventive health care resources, health testing services and charitable programs to its stores in all 50 states.
