Procter & Gamble, which has been trying to make its laundry detergent packaging more eco-friendly via smaller packaging, may have to play catch-up. Seventh Generation, a maker of non-toxic household
cleaners, is setting a new bar with a liquid laundry detergent bottle made out of 100% recycled cardboard and newspaper. Over half of American consumers want products like this from companies they
perceive as eco-cognizant, per market research.
