Android may be passing Apple's iOS as the dominant smartphone system, but when it comes to tablets the iPad is still king.

According to USA Today, citing tech analysts from Gartner, Apple's iOS system will remain the top tablet platform through 2015. According to the company, 83% of tablets sold in 2011 will run on Apple's system, with Android running on only 14%.

By 2015, the company predicts, Apple will run on 47% of tablets, while Android will run on 39%. BlackBerry's QNX operating system will only have a 10% share by 2015, according to Gartner.
