Spring training is kicking off and,
along with it, a new soda sponsor for Major League Baseball.
The MLB has brought on Mountain Dew Baja Blast as its Official Soft Drink sponsor for the 2026 baseball season. The league
has also renewed its ongoing relationship with fellow PepsiCo brand Gatorade as the league's Official Sports Drink.
“Mountain Dew Baja Blast brings the same energy to baseball that fans
feel with … our tropical citrus soda – whether it's at first pitch, during a seventh-inning stretch or in the middle of a late-game rally,” said Mark Kirkham, CMO, PepsiCo
Beverages U.S. “…We're excited to fuel fans' passion for the game all season long.”
Mountain Dew is planning a season-long promotion “tied to the biggest home runs in
the game,” according to the announcement. The new “Get a Baja for a Blast” program will give out product rewards tied to long-distance home runs. More info will be available here as the season approaches on Mar. 25.

“Mountain Dew has always shown up where fans are most passionate, and this relationship is a
perfect illustration of that approach as the momentum and excitement around MLB is soaring following a historic Postseason and World Series,” said Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB CMO & senior vice
president, global corporate partnerships. “Game day is about energy, excitement, and being part of something bigger – and Mountain Dew gets that.”
Gatorade, the official
sports drink of the MLB since 1990, kicked off the 2026 MLB season by ringing the Nasdaq Market’s opening bell in New York City's Times Square this morning, Feb. 19.
