San Francisco-based Goodby, Silverstein & Partners grabbed 10 nominations for the 15th annual Webby Awards in Interactive Advertising, making the Omnicom agency a leading contender for Agency of the Year honors.

Three other Omnicom properties placed among the top six nominated agencies: DDB and BBDO with six apiece, and TBWA with five. Other top-nominated agencies were Interpublic's R/GA with nine nods, WPP's Ogilvy with eight and Publicis Groupe's Saatchi & Saatchi with five.

GSP's nominated work includes "Doritos Late Night" for Augmented Reality, "Battle of the Cheetos" in the "Game or Application" category, Tostito's "The Amazing Flamenco Chef" for B2C Rich Media, and two nods in the "Mobile & Experience Marketing" category -- for a Dali Museum iPhone app and the "Yahoo! Bus Stop Derby."

This year's most honored interactive advertising work includes two campaigns that received three nominations apiece: "Old Spice Response Campaign" from independent agency Wieden+Kennedy ("Best Use of Social Media," "Viral Marketing," "Integrated Campaigns"), and Tipp-Ex's "A Hunter Shoots A Bear" from Paris-based Buzzman ("Best Use of Online Media," "Online Guerilla & Innovation," "Rich Media: Promotional").

Webby winners will be announced May 3, with a ceremony to follow June 13 during Internet Week New York. It will be streamed live by MLB Advanced Media under a two-year partnership announced last month with the interactive media division of Major League Baseball.
