The gaming blogs are reporting that Nintendo is gearing up to unveil a follow-up to its Wii console system.
According to Game Informer, Nintendo could unveil its plans for an HD-gaming system by the E3 Expo in June, "if not
sooner." Such a system could help Nintendo compete with other HD-systems like Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3.
Meanwhile, IGN is reporting that the new system will be more than an update of the Wii system, with a controller that has a screen embedded in it,
possibly allowing for players to take mini games with them or play alternate games while facing the screen. Either way, expect the buzz to build in the time between now and E3 in June.
