Under Armour Taps Omnicom For Media Planning/Buying

Baltimore-based Under Armour has selected Omnicom Media Group agency Optimum Sports to manage its media account, marking the first time the sports apparel marketer has assigned media planning and buying duties to an outside agency. Among Optimum Sports initial responsibilities will be advising Under Armour on the placement of its upcoming footwear TV, print and digital campaign, which will kick-off during the "back-to-school" shopping season.
