ANA Accepting Multicultural Award Entries

  • June 8, 2011
The Association of National Advertisers is accepting entries through Aug. 15 for its 11th annual Multicultural Excellence Awards.

The awards recognize marketers and their agencies for their work in producing superior multicultural advertising and marketing campaigns.

Winners will be announced at the ANA's 13th Annual Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Conference, November 6-8 in Miami.  For a campaign to be eligible, it must have appeared between June 2010 and June 2011.

This year, the ANA will review submissions to reflect excellence in key multicultural and media categories, as well as overall business performance. Multicultural categories include African American, Asian, General Market, Hispanic and LGBT. Media formats include digital, radio and print.

Companies and agencies may submit multiple entries within a category or across multiple categories. Rules, fees and submission guidelines are at www.ana.net/awards.

A portion of the proceeds collected from the awards submission fees are used to fund scholarships for high-potential multicultural students planning to pursue careers in advertising and marketing.--Tanya Irwin
