The company plans to use the new capital to fund global presence of their two business units, the Mojiva ad network and the Mocean Mobile ad serving platform. Earlier this year, Mojiva brought on former AdMob exec Tony Nethercutt as general manager for North America.
The Mojiva network spans 3,000 sites and reaches an audiences of 100 million U.S. mobile users and 400 million worldwide. It serves 18 billion impressions a month.
Mojiva on Monday also announced hiring John Breeman has as chief financial officer. He previously held financial management positions at companies including IDT, AT&T and Siemens.
