WPP has made another strategic acquisition in the Asia Pacific region, acquiring Campaigns and Grey in the Philippines, said to be one of the country's leading shops. The acquisition was made through
the holding company's Grey Advertising unit, which has had a stake in the agency since 1994. The deal, valued at $6 million, will give WPP a controlling stake in the firm. C&G clients include
drug maker GlaxoSmithKline, Boehringer Ingelheim and Procter & Gamble.
