Aiming to make good on Comcast's promises to regulators when it acquired NBCUniversal, the company's Telemundo will add more than 1,000 hours of local news and public affairs programming by January,
increasing offerings in those two categories by more than 25%.
This move will include local weekend news shows in New York and local public affairs programs in both New York and L.A.
