Google celebrates its 13th birthday today. Larry Page and Sergey Brin began working on the BackRub search engine in January 1996, and registered the domain name "Google" in 1997. Incorporation
followed on Sept. 7 1998, but the duo decided to celebrate the company's birthday on the date -- Sept. 27 -- they announced the number of pages the engine indexed. David Angotti gives us a rundown of
