Under Armour To Outfit High School Sports Team

  • October 6, 2011
Baltimore-based Under Armour is starting a nationwide contest to find the next "Undeniable" high school athletic program to outfit.

The grand prize is custom designed Under Armour uniforms. Schools can enter by visiting Under Armour's Facebook page.   In order to win, participating schools have to compete to generate the highest number of votes on their school's individual microsite housed on the Undeniable Tab through the Under Armour Facebook page. Students, teachers and fans can cast a vote for their school by "liking" the Under Armour Facebook Page. Schools will be judged on three types of criteria: number of votes, completion of various pride challenges, and athletic performance.   To generate votes, schools have to complete specific pride challenges ranging from creating their own Under Armour commercial to encouraging influential alumni to endorse their respective schools. Additionally, schools can also gain points through winning athletic performances. Points will be given for victories across all sports with additional points for conference, regional, sectional, and national championships.    Three high schools will be announced as finalists in the beginning of December and will be asked to submit a short documentary that will live exclusively on Under Armour's Facebook page. The school whose documentary generates the most votes will be declared the winner.
