A new survey from Staples Advantage, the business-to-business division of Framingham, Mass.-based office supply giant Staples
Inc., shows that companies that give out holiday gifts can improve workplace morale among employees and inspire brand loyalty among customers. The survey of 215 employees found that 60% of
respondents like their company more if they have received a holiday gift. Sorry, it's likely to be headphones or an MP3 player, not the $10 million bonus the guy at the hedge fund got.
