Haggar Taps McGarrah Jessee For Branding

Haggar Clothing Co. has selected Austin, Tex.-based McGarrah Jessee as its Agency of Record to assist in guiding the company’s branding efforts.
“Consumers are looking for well-made clothing at reasonable prices from brands they trust, without having to sacrifice on style,” said Jon Ragsdale, Senior VicePresident, Marketing & Merchandising at Haggar, in a statement. “We believe McGarrah Jessee understands that vision and is the perfect partner for us to help showcase a rich heritage and innovative new product lines to our loyal fans and to future customers.”

Haggar Clothing Co, maker of Haggar branded casual and dress apparel for men, announces the acquisition of certain assets of Neema Clothing Ltd. The acquisition extends the company's strong position in the men's dress and tailored category.
Paul Buxbaum, Haggar's CEO, said, "We purchased the men's private label dress and clothing business Neema has developed with several department store retailers in the country." Buxbaum added, "This purchase enables Haggar to leverage its experience as a leading developer and supplier of men's dress clothing."
