Eddie Murphy Bows Out Of Oscars

Eddie Murphy has decided to leave his upcoming gig as host of the Academy Awards, following pal Brett Ratner's exit as producer, reports AP. Ratner left because of a controversy over a gay slur he used at the screeing of the comedy "Tower Heist," which stars Ben Stiller and Murphy. The Oscars will air on Feb. 26.
