'Tis the time of year for possible nervous TV cancellations -- with fervent fans looking to offer up their support.

NBC's "Community" will get just that on Thursday, as fans are planning a flash mob at Rockefeller Center at 1 p.m. The show has been pulled from NBC's midseason schedule -- but network executives haven't disclose whether it is coming back or not.

Organizers are asking people to bring tiny Christmas trees and sport faux goatees -- in connection with one recently theme episode. The lowly rated series has been averaging just 3.6 million viewers so far this season.
