That’s what Cyndi Lauper just asked the ANA TV & Everything Video crowd in between her sets at the forum this afternoon.

“Were the meetings okay,” she asked, feigning genuine interest. Then asking, “Do you have many more hours? Are you having any fun? Did they serve liquor? Are you sloshed? I know you can’t be, because you have to make that deal.” (Emphasis on the word deal.)

Then she broke in an incredibly soulful, gospel rendition of “Girls Just Want To Have Fun.” And the girls and boys were having fun. And you know, I heard her do it live back in the 80s, so it’s pretty nice to know some things do actually improve with age.
