Competition for brand recognition in the enterprise software market got hotter on Wednesday with the debut of the Googlighting ad from Microsoft. The satire shows Google moonlighting as a provider
of productivity software, taking the theme from a 1980s TV show. The ad accuses Google of using its customers as lab rats -- adjusting products while on the market, rather than releasing them after
being tested.
