Notes From OMMA: Tablet Revolution

At the second annual Tablet Revolution show at OMMA, columnist Steve Smith pointed out that tablets fundamentally disruptive. We want to understand the real leap in the last half year. how are tablets not just interest ing ad-ons but part of the mobilized spigot.
Smith started with a video from Corning, called Day of Glass that showed how tablet technology is becoming essential to daily life and integrated with other technology such as large edge to edge displays.
"First, it's the habituation of technology. it has evolved from gadgets to media at just that point where they become routine. Not just penetration," he said.
