Apple Acquires Search App Chomp

With Apple's App Store less than perfect when it comes to search, Apple has acquired Chomp, an app search platform. The platform wlll likely help users find the lesser-known apps. Chomp has a deal with Verizon to run all its Android-based app searches, which could make the partnership a bit awkward with the acquisition, according to MG Siegler.
