Google Search Results To Serve Local Concert Information

Google said it will begin indexing concerts in search engine results. Until now the company has offered a widget that google.com users could add to their home page listing concerts. Now, fans looking for information on the Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw tour can find it in search engine results. The search includes upcoming local concert tour dates. A link allows the searcher to click through to the band's official site to learn more or click on other Web pages to buy tickets. It's not clear whether Google will pull in lesser-known artist brand pages from Google+ or YouTube.
