Nosy Crow's Cinderella storybook iPad app for children combines illustrations, animation, music, and touch-screen activities. The app uses interactive tools—including the screen, microphone, and camera—to retell the fairy tale. Children can take part in the story by helping Cinderella clean the kitchen, pick out her dress, build the carriage with the Fairy Godmother, and select the music at the ball. Touching each character sparks additional dialogue. Children using devices with a front-facing camera can see their faces reflected in the "magic mirrors" of the story, which is narrated by actress Freya Wilson.
