As part of its official sponsorship of the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series, Mars Chocolate is encouraging Facebook users to make a personal pledge to their health once a week and share with other like-minded athletes what inspires them to lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

Mars Chocolate said that everyone who "likes" the Marathon Bar Facebook page will be eligible to win such prizes as training gear, Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series race entries, and Marathon Bar products. Athletes will gain access to nutrition and training tips from experts in each field, support Team Marathon Bar members, as well as training tools.
