20% Of Americans Connect TVs To Internet

More than one-fifth of U.S. households (about 27 million total) have at least one entertainment device (TV, game console, Blu-Ray player and/or smart set-top box) connected to their home network and the Internet, according to ABI Research.

Among these devices, the game console is the most-used device, available in 80% of the connected households, followed by Internet TVs (27%), Blu-Ray players (24%) and smart-set top boxes (13%).
