Xaxis, the GroupM demand-side digital ad-buying platform, has launched in Canada. Rodney Perry has been appointed managing director of the Canadian operation. He will be based in Toronto. Previously, Perry served as vice president of the Canadian Circulations Audit Board, a division of global media auditor BPA Worldwide. Before that, he was managing partner of the Toronto office of MEC’s digital group, MEC Interaction. The Canadian platform will reach both English- and French-speaking target audiences across an array of digital media, including display, mobile, social and online video.
