Sales, Profits Up At Costco

Costco says sales for its fiscal quarter gained 8% to $21.85 billion, up from $20.19 billion last year, including a 5% rise in same-store sales. And net income for the quarter jumped to $386 million, compared with $324 million in the same period last year. The results came in above analysts’ expectations.
