Comedy Central will be getting some extra off-air promotion from hip retail apparel store Urban Outfitters this fall. Some 157 locations starting in August 15 -- running for a month -- will sell election-themed merchandise, graphic T-shirts, mugs, tumblers, posters and buttons linked to Comedy Central shows, "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," "The Colbert Report" and "Indecision 2012."

Comedy Central says this is the first time its branded-merchandise has been available in retail stores. Some noted products: on a mug for "Indecision 2012" --"Incompetent, Incoherent, Incapable." On a T-shirt for "Daily Show" -- "I'm Kind of Insane and I Vote."
