Okay, so my stand-up routine leaves something to be desired, but comedians are on my mind today, not just because of the passing of Phyllis Diller, but because I just got a pitch in my inbox for a new campaign mobile marketing shop ProTexting.com featuring stand-up comedian Wali Collins examining the humor of text messaging.

I can’t attest to the veracity of the PR lady’s claim that this is “the first time that text messaging was incorporated into a standup comedy routine” (somehow I think it’s not), but it might be worth checking out if you want to view the YouTube teaser here.
