Among the many advertisers slamming parents with back-to-school related advertising, Best Buy, Lysol and JCPenney are the most effective, according to AceMetrix, as compared to the tech-heavy
advertisers that resonated the most last year at this time.
“Traditional big box retailers and office supply stores shifted, in large part, from messages touting tech to those
characterized by messages of “value,” or in the case of Wal-Mart, philanthropy,” the Mountain View, Calif.-based analytics firm says in its release. In addition to Best Buy and
JCPenney, which both had two spots in the top 10, HP Hardware, Office Max, Office Depot, Staples, and Crayola each had one.
